The view of Lake Como towards Varenna and Bellagio from Plesio, even on a somewhat gloomy day, is something to behold. The balcony of my little bolthole has the advantage of almost being able to see the “Y” of the lake. Cast your eyes in the other direction and the view is of the lush green hillside up to the tree line and then the splendor of the mountain tops, and at times their white snowy peaks.
Sitting here now I imagine hunkering down on the balcony with a cup of coffee and a little treat and just watching the world go by. My special place with a view….I long for you!
